will after a fitting my new starter relay the only way it would kick over is by bridging the relay , so went and brought a new one and the same will only kick over with bridging the relay. im thinking its the switch now so have ordered one . lets hope when it turn up it works and starts. :pray:

I had one like this on a 3en2, I could bridge the solenoid and bump start it but it wouldn't start with the button.I replaced the solenoid but it was the same.
I tracked a dark blue wire though the loom and found it had broken at the big black diode under the left hand tail plastics. Have a look and follow the wire around a bit

problem solved it was the fuel relay / starter circurt cutoff relay as the manual says.. just bridged the blue white wires and it started with the switch . now to buy a fuel relay and off for mot :-)
