Valve clearance check is not that bad to do but its getting at them thats time comsuming.if any are out of spec its cams out time but if you follow manual you can do it. Also radiator needs to come off.have a look on you tube for how to use feeler guages if youve not done it before bud. We all have to learn and you will save a fortune in your biking life if your willing to have a go as it only really cost you your time. As for head lights try a hid system as bigger lamps may melt something.

I think you can just clean the carbs and see how that goes for now.

Headlight - the Japanese lights use odd type bulbs that aren't very good. fit some UK lights and you can use H4 bulbs, make sure they have the wires, and bulbs or the price can stack up ... these will do you

thanks for advise bike runs and starts fine well happy,got it going a while ago but fgot password and it wouldnt let me get back on here sorted now tho.is it normal that my front break pads miss at least 5mm ov me disk,also my swingarm is diff ive got the one where a brace holds a bracket that me back wheel pin goes froo to hold bracket for me caliper,and sumones put fz 750 front break on the back,will fzr 600 fit me 400 cus cant find one for 400.you was right about being jeted it has 107.5 in it.but it dus go like fck and sound sweet .also my bars are under yolk aswell but it looks like the break fluid box would hit fairing if they was above,how do i up load pics not great on teky stuff but would like to put sum on here

Your swingarm is from a 3en1 (a 1988 bike) the bars sound like you have a 3en2 top clamp, is the clamp flat ?

NO its not mate its diff eather of earlyer model or of 600 it has the round tork bar holding me bracket for caliper ive got pics on photo bucket but cant get em on here yet,as for me spelling yep its shite lol i try n get pics on again.
