Here´s a little contribution, rally.
Rear shock springs (to compare relative weigh, spring rate and leght should be taken into account)
showa nc35 1108 gr (Free length 188mm, 140Nw mm??)
öhlins 1106gr (Free length 147mm, 150Nwmm)
Wilbers 1010gr (Free length 150mm, 120Nwmm)
RCS 650gr (Free length 147mm, 120Nwmm) Titanium coil, öhlins fit
Titanium will be around 40% lighter than steel, same as with nuts and bolts.
I am currently running the RCS on a öhlins,15mm preload, but would be better off with a 130Nwmm, even though I´m a light jockey (60kg)
Cheers

Updated with the two above and my new puchase.
A 370 gr durbahn 2,3A battery!
And it has a CCA of 300A so it will be more than enough for a carbed bike.
Keep them coming!

When you have done all you can to lighten the bike, then get your weight down as much as possible.
Finally, Casio do a titanium watch and Specsavers do titanium framed spectacles for those that wear them.
