I can back him up on that one - it is extremely good!

We're restricted to standard shocks for racing in Aus, but I've never felt any need to spend big bucks on an aftermarket when a re-worked standard shock is MUCH more than adequate.

As above, any suspension expert could point you in the right direction. Spring weights that work well are widely known, just this and a revalve and freshen will make a huge difference. Cost is subjective, but at a guess it could only be half as much as a cheaper aftermarket option.

Find a good suspension guru from someone that races the same sort of bike.
