Cheers for the confirmation Raptor, I did check and all bolts CAN be removed without touching the lock, but as you said, you can't remove the filler cap assembly without the key! Phew!
Thats cleared that up! :D

when i took my tank to a locksmith, he made me 2 new keys for $30...thats about 7gb pounds i think...every model of bike has about 5 master keys...
and they generally carry them
summin to think about

When I lost key from my cb-1, I opened fuel tank in this way:

The lock body has 2 grooves. Right key sets all secrets into rotor. With wrong key some of secrets are inserted into grooves.

I have mooved secrets by a steel wire and inserted a 0.10 mm plate used for measuring valve clearences. This plate blocks the secrets, so you can open the cap and use it, for example, like a race cap.

Then I blocked secrets wih pieces of plastic cable tight.
