As an update i have fitted 112 dynojets, they improved the feel of the bike but didn't solve the problem. So i fitted what i think was the standard slide springs (they measure 147mm unloaded and have 24 coils?) yet again they improved the feel but the problem is still there.
It is happening in every gear but is less obvious lower down as you can push through it.
Any other ideas?

if everything is fine with the carbs, have you checked / tested the CDI unit?

So why not go bigger again on the jets?
112 DJ is still pretty small isn't it?
WHere you at? NOt at any crazy altitude are you?

I don't have a spare cdi and i don't know how else to check a high rev fault other than a swap to a known good one.
112 jets were suggested by Graeme France. I'm in gloucestershire so no not high up.

The rev limiter kicks in at 5,000 RPM (30ish mph) exactly & isn't your issue if your getting to 11k rpm

No the deristriction circuit kicks in at 5k the rev limiter is the very top of the rev range

I met mine a few times

... middle of the red ish section on my tach 14-17K i think.... with out going outside to my bike to look...
If the speed restriction limiter is activated by a loose wire/blown fuse etc.. it will kick in at 5K RPM, so if chappy here can get to 11.5K RPM.. just saying for peace of mind... its not the speed restriction up the spritz.
I agree with most on fuelling.

The noise suppressor i had fitted was broken and blocking the exhaust. It was only when i went to fit my AFR kit that i found the problem.
Thanks for your help anyway.
