sounds like you guys take your racing a little more seriously over there, I won our club championship on an original motor (no rebuilds), tuned carbs, stock airbox, damper rod forks with emulators, stock revalved shock, linkage mod, 17in rear and slicks, was even puffing a little smoke by the end of the season (valve stem seals).

Me and my missus will be over there mid year and i will be coming out to the track as often as I can just to get amongst the racing scene.

Hi eddyk7
yes you could say, it can be pretty cut throat at the front of the pack, all good off the bikes though
Where are you from?
yes do come along, theres a few of us on here racing with bemsee this season so im sure someone will be able to sort out a ticket for you

Sorry my build has been pretty slow but ive had my hands full with getting these aluminium axles sorted + lots of other trick bits such as ally fuel cell with dummy fibreglass covers
Ti sprocket studs
ti flush rear disc bolts
billet yokes
ally subframes
also last night i drew up a set of adjustable yokes + a quick change front spindle kit all of which will be available to people very soon

got these through the other day which fit a treat if you slide the rubber sealing plug down + lockwire it in place

They are from a 2003 -2006 cbr600

I then had a chop up of the standad subframe to fit the rsw seat, swapping bits from left to right, top to bottome etc + came up with this which ill weld up + refit the tank mount over the weekend
The original chopped undertray even fits still but need to drill a mount hole + use a cable tie

Thats all for the minute but more to follow on monday
My ohlins forks have made the first part of their journey so wont be too long now

Sorry, its been a while, but we are from Sunshine Coast, Australia. So over there you need tickets to come and watch the club racing, that shits crazy. We have family and friends coming to watch and thats about it, its way, way to far out of everyones way to just drop out for a look.

Finished my subframe yesterday, so thats all welded up ready to go now

Got on with this today, bit of shed engineering but almost there, got to weld a lug on for 2nd caliper but then its done
Image
Got a dishwasher coming in next few days to use with degreaser so that will be my new parts washer, when thats in its pull apart again, clean clean clean then final build

the bike is cuming on well, personally i would NEVER weld or advise welding a mounting lug on for the caliper bad practice dont do it.

The engine with these,

as you can see it hasnt yet + im intending on being on the dyno next weekend, so I need to oull my finger out
Heads are ported + skimmed ready for me to build up once ice finished making a valve seat seal tester, ill put some pics up

Waiting for ignitech + short velocity stacks to turn up, ill get a fair bit done over weekend hopefully but cant build my bottom end till upper crankcase is back so I may end up with a 55mm engine for the first meeting + build another for 2nd meet, we'll see
