I think this is an HRC replica exhaust, not cheap though:

Id say theres no chance of getting RVF400 fairings, pretty sure it was a team bike and built for the racing, like trying to get a set of panels for Pedrosas bike.
I took plenty of pictures of an RVF400 the other week actually, ill upload them later on
btw, rvf400 is much closer to an nc30/nc35 than an nc21/n24 ever was.

Hi neo
thanks for the reply, for the hundreds of pics ive looked at it does seem that I the fairing is the same as a certain year rs250 + the seat is nigh on the same as another year rs
not sure if were thinking about the same model of rvf, the rvf im replicating has many similarities to the nc21, dual sidrf swingarm, right hand exhaust, also the frame + subframe are virtually the same, its the rvf from 86 like the one in the pic I posted earlier, the rvf that is very similar to the nc30 is the later rvf from around 88 ish I think, tge one with the flat top tank, single sider + that very tasty dry clutch, the thibgs I would sell to get a dry clutch on my race bike

There was a set of these fairings floating around on yahoo japan a few weeks back, if I remember right it's exactly the same shape as the pictured bike. Interested to see your progress with this build mate.

theres a company in Japan that makes dry slipper clutches and the enclosures for normal wet clutch bikes, they do one for the nc24 and nc30. about 2360 gbp if I remember right, I do have the info somehwere.james66 wrote:Hi neo

That bike you posted is Yamamotos bike, I have stood next to that bike, its the one I took pictures of, I will dig them out in a second.
Its from 1986 I believe. Its not like an NC21 apart from having an exhaust in the same place and a similar swingarm.
let me go find the pictures...
Here are some Photos of a stock NC21, and Yamamotos bike.
You can see the frame is a lot fatter, much more like an NC30 frame, the forks are 41mm chunky buggars along with 4 piston fixed calipers (again akin to NC30)
Rear brake has torque arm on it.

Amazing pics neo, love the detailing, was frame used for coolant or oil? (Sorry for the hijack)

Probably water like the vf750s of the time.
Ill try and find out where that bike lives and get some more pictures.
