It took me ages to work out why it looked different. Still looks very good though. I like it.

I used to have a 99 rrx blade and kept the company of several other mates on earlier models on a 93 an urban tiger and a rrv we regularly swapped bikes when out and it's amazing the difference between the model years the urban tiger in particular was much perkier than the rest even though all the bikes were fitted with stage one dynojet kits ignition advancers k&n filters race cans etc. Did you look at the 92 on ebay recently up here that went for £870 all original plastics etc was tempted to go have a look at it was surprised it went for so little unless a horror story lay beneath the plastics

yeh mate the earlier blades were wilder to ride for some reason ,my old urban tiger was sold to jb who used to work at pinnacle motorcycles in stirling , it was a perky motor like you say and pulled like a train , didn't see the one on ebay for 870 seems way too cheap though, maybe tarted up fairings on a rough motor or if not someone got a bargain , love the early blades the only other one id have apart from this one is another urban tiger

It had the original plastics frame had small dink where the bar ends had clouted and the cardinal sin of being polished never went to see it was surprised it went so cheaply was going to bid on it but thought there would be a lot more interest in it beyond what I had spare. By comparison Looked at a rougher bike last year seller wanted £1750 fixed and it was a complete minger .

yeh mate prices vary a lot usually due to condition and milage ,I love the early blade, not so sure about the latest incarnation though
