It's an NC24, 12mm is correct.
I forget where I got the one I used from, perhaps it was a car filter but I took it off in the end. dont remember it casuing any trouble but it wastn needed and made hooking up tank even more fiddly.

I'm assuming you have an NC24? Mine was 12mm on that, got a glass cartridge one off eBay. About £8. Worked fine but was a pain to fit as it's a tight space underneath and the filter is about 4.5" long overall. Clean the tank out and then line it with tank liner, maybe have the carbs sonically cleaned?
