If the bike has been stood around for a long time you might need the carbs ultrasonicly cleaned to sort them out,
Also how far out are the pilot screws? (under the carbs)
It sounds lean and a hot engine runs leaner than a cold one.

Now you know why it was a bit cheap, but no probs it should hopefully give you a budget to get it running properly.

Pilot jets and airscrews only effect up to 1/8th throttle openings.
You got the broken jet holder screw replaced ?
It may be the exup valve is inoperative.
I am more inclinded to suspect valve clearances if no compression test with an accurate gauge or manual check has been performed.
If the valves are tight when cold ;they will expand to such a degree that total closure is impossible when hot and expanded.
Usually engines are hard to start with insufficient clearance however.
When its hot and spluttering;what happens if you incrementally apply the choke.?
Good known spare coils are always valuable in these instances as is a check of the battery voltage with a multimeter whilst the problem occurs.TCI's on these are very sensitive to voltage spikes.
The flames from the exhaust that you described in another post are indictive of excessive unburnt fuel being ignited in the hot silencer.
Black smoke is again excessive or unburnt fuel.
Are the choke plungers returning properly?
The carb service tech would have checked this but you may have refitted the operating cable if he had just the carbs and not the bike.
One could chase this problem for a year and a day;getting nowhere, whilst in the hands of a capable mechanic; service time and money will pay dividends and eliminate both frustration and needless, costly replacement of parts.

First of all wow
Yeh replace the jet nut
Ill have to do a compression test
Will the leaking down pipe not be the cause of it ?
How do check the choke plungers ?
What am i looking for when i imcremently apply the choke ?

I don't think Chris has a lot of experience with bike mechanics, that's why I'm trying get him to check the basic things first. The oil, air filter cleaning the carbs ... now the exup and then move into the complicated stuff.
Maybe it would be easier to take it to a mechanic though
