Is the the stop ring circlip of the right fork I can see hanging down near the lower yolk?

If it is then It should be at the top of the fork in the proper groove, it is used to locate the forks to their correct height in the yolks.
No mate, I see what u mean tho. Went out and checked the bike but fortunately it's just where the paints worn and the way the picture has been taken. You have a keen eye still to spot that from that photo.
