I think we need to get a container over there, fill it up and send it over here, where the prices seem an awful lot higher! :P

Yes it is/was and someone came and stuck a deposit on it yesterday so I'm sans bike again. We've got another 3EN2 400 and a 3TJ 4/6 to put together though

Good luck selling your 3EN1- like EC says, stick it on ebay at a realistic price for what it is (around £800 for a clean Genesis or 3EN1) and be open to offers if it's anything less than mint. The market for 1WGs is on its backside and I really don't think it'll pick up despite what ebay prices and Plumtree dreamers might suggest. We sold the 3EN2 (tidy, MOTed) for £900 with a pair of 3TJ wheels thrown in- the crap (standard) tyre choice and skinny forks really devalue the 1WGs (and the 3HE 600s).

Ok then, here's an update...

I panicked and bought another 3EN2 with T&T for £700 and we set about sorting it out for track use. We've kept the standard bodywork for now and just filled the gaps in as best we can be bothered to  Here's the bike as we got it, it's clean enough but there were some awesome bodges and oversights-

and as it is now-

3TJ swingarm and wheels, R6 shock and an endurance fairing in case I still want a road bike.

We also got a load of 3EN1 and Genesis parts for £100 which included a 3TJ rear wheel, 3TJ calipers and what looks to be ceramic coated Yoshimura headers. I don't know if they're definitely Yoshimura but they're 3mm oversize and the collector is stacked not flat like on standard headers- woo!

Ironically I didn't have to stump up for an Ignitech cdi/tci because the spares bike came with a full Genesis loom :x Meh. Everyone (including me, despite my vocal protestations) likes a bit of pit lane bling though so the Ignitech'll be staying (if it works ok) for an extra few programmable pit lane bhp

The headers sound like Vance and Haynes - I had a set for a 3en2, but didn't put them on, they're probably with Willanddrip by now

Yep.
Mark was going to use them to replace his rotten 2Tk headers but I sourced a replacement set and overhauled the Exup valve.
They are still lying unused.
That makes 3 Greybike members who never fitted them.!

Whe-hey Kayla; that looks neat.
Where did you get the passenger seat cowl.?
And more to the point-how do you open the seat with it on.?
3EN2's must have the most ridiculous set up ever to get to the battery;
1;open passenger seat.
2;undo the 2 fixings then remove the seat panel joining piece
3: undo the fixing to remove the riders seat.
4;now you can see the battery.
Now wonder all those seat joiner pieces are missing;folk must get pee'd off and chuck them.!
Whats the plan for the catch tank belly plate.?

Chris made the cowl from a spare 3TJ seat unit we had, it's not the neatest job in the world but it's lighter than the pillion seat and all the lock and pivot gubbins and it does the job. He fibreglassed the front centre joining piece to the cowl and the whole lot clips under the rear of the seat and the rear of the cowl is held under the rear seat plastic with a spring- all very works  I'll try and get a pic later on.

I've got a Honda RS125 seat unit mocked up on my other 3EN2 and I'm cobbling a subframe up to use that instead, it's all one piece fibreglass so I can do away with the separate seat and plastic panels and get to the battery more easily. As nice as the 3EN2 looks it's not the most accessible of bikes!

Chris has fibreglassed the pattern lowers that came with the bike together to make a belly pan.
