Looks great Sam. Matt will be doing my SP2 spare panels and NC35 silhoette stuff too. Good friend and finish is very good.
Would love to be spending money on my bikes but missus wants to buy a house

Sam,
I meant to ask how close the colour is to the gold that we all are aiming for?

Re: Sams' cheap NC30 rebuild!
This is the age old question. I'm not sure. It came out way better than I thought, and i'm happy with it. Every photo of a HRC wheel seems to look different. But it's my bike, and i'm happy with the colour, so thats all that matters.
You can call in and have a look at it if you want.
I have to tell you though, I think I used the last of the powdercoat in that colour that they had.

Couldnt agree more - its a bit like me having K-Con stuff on my bike.Sam-NI wrote:But it's my bike, and i'm happy with the colour, so thats all that matters.
I know exactly what you mean, sems to be a million variants of gold.
No worries, back to paint it is then!! Need to get a ding fixed in one of my front wheels anyway.Sam-NI wrote:I have to tell you though, I think I used the last of the powdercoat in that colour that they had.
Have you seen the guy near Hillsborough advertising who paints then bakes with UV light?
