I did my bikes the same as Ricky, but without the marigolds. And a long 7mm socket so you have something good to grip onto.

I bought flexi screwdrivers etc but the carbs are that sensitive even the slightest pressure on the adjusters made the bike rev
It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

I did mine without the marigolds :o , using a 7mm socket held in my teet  h and whilst learning colloquial russian from an old Coassack... :ninja:

I tell a wee fib...I have never used the gauges..and it sounds like a right ballache! How do you access it if you run a carb tray?

but does that not throw the delicate balance out -if you don't get the same seal and the carbs get twisted and so on?

I thought that it was quite delicate..

Hi, I've got a Morgan carb tune you can borrow. Don't think I've got the adapters for the NC though. Although there are some bits in the bag side pocket. It's in Derby so close to you. I'm in Glasgow until Friday but there's someone at workshop from 8 until 5ish. I'll be back Friday night. I've got a 90 deg screwdriver as well. Let me know if you want to borrow it.

That would be brilliant. I don't need it immediately so if you could possibly check the adapters you do have whenever you can, might be in luck with the right one :peace:

Thanks in advance ;)
