What you have as "charging signal" is the 'signal generator' (sends engine position information to CDI for timing purposes)

Don't you mean right hand side? Same side as the stator. Left hand side is the gearbox. Or does it pick up from the gearbox output shaft on the GSXR400s?

On the GK73a there is a cover over the starter gears, that is where it looks like the signal generator is, might be different on GK76 and of course I'm going off of a Jap manual looking at the pictures.

Aint that the airbox sensor? sits on top of airbox just behind the frame.

Just looked at the airbox and can't see any sensors

I am starting to think there are a few bits missing from this bike

The 1st one has now been identified as the signal generator, but can't find that either

The Japanese translation for the last unknown has been confirmed as 'Solenoid'

Now i just need to find out what the solenoid is for
