Crikey! I'm genuinely surprised at how quick you guys go through gaskets :o

They're the same so they won't be shit ;)

Oh fuck, if id have known it was Versah who made the gaskets for Honda i wouldnt have bothered to get an OEM set. Think i might cancel my order with CMS and just get a set of the Versah ones if they are exactly the same!

All the pattern sets that you will buy on ebay or elsewhere will be NE brand - I supplied those for a while and had no reported issues from customers but then a batch found their way out which contained valve stem seals that were completely u/s and caused a couple of owners to have to completely redo major engine rebuilds. I have returned all my stock and won`t touch them again.

There is nobody in the UK or Europe who stocks the Vesrah kit for NC30s so I have negotiated a supply direct from the factory in Japan - they come out at a retail price of £160 which is significantly more than the NE ones were but they do appear to be OE quality and the price is almost exactly half of what Honda charge for the equivalent parts.

It's criminal how the big four get people to make the exact same stuff and charge quite often several times the price just for the sake of having their parts sticker on the packet or box. I seem to recall fro my two-stroke days that Art made 'aftermarket' piston kits for Yamaha bikes amongst others that were half the price of OEM pistons (never mind that the latter came without rings and bearings). My TZR125 blew up and I had it rebuilt using genuine parts, and lo and behold, the genuine piston in the bike and it's replacement both had 'Art' cast into them! No wonder it costs over £40K to build an NC35 from Honda's parts bin... lol
