Re: Ebay, won rear disc,
From the pic it looks like you have been had over, stop putting 'looks' as what appears to be the only criteria for everything you do to try and sort your bike out. If you are going to buy anything else please consider putting a thread / link to the item on here. So the price / condition can be assessed before you buy it seeing as you are so hard up. You never know a kind soul might just have what you are looking for in a box of parts in their loft / garage / shed and let you have it for postage or postage plus a beer token or two.

Re: Ebay, won rear disc,
Not to side with everyone for the sake of it but that looks like a crappy disc. Did you try an advert in the wanted section? Many tiems you can get things on here cheaper.
See how it is when it arrives.

Theres a genuine one here with 4.8mm of disc (not 'a lot of meat') for the same price.

Re: Ebay, won rear disc,
i dont see how that disc looks that bad? its got lines on it because of the ceramic pads... every disc WILL have that unless its brand new and not been used for too much.... you should see the state of my current one... il take a pic and post it up on here to see what i mean....
but yeah, if this one is bad or below 5mm il chuck it out...

May well have done, but the one on the eBay auction with 4.8mm left clearly shows 5.0mm min th.porndoguk wrote:My old disc had "MIN 4.5MM" stamped into itspeedy231278 wrote:Ummm.... 4.8mm thick, and the service limit is 5.0....

Maybe you should have asked for the exact thickness before you shelled out over 20 quid

Re: Ebay, won rear disc,
Arguing, disagreeing etc all aside,
If the disc measures below 5mm ersan you have every right to file a claim as the seller has misold it.
So dont chuck return it for a refund.
