I dont think it was tightened up properly. Ive never had one fall off before that was tightened up correctly and not damaged.

True, but the design issue is with the plastic tabs breaking off regularly. We should come up with a mod that fixes the seat to the frame instead of the fairing.

Just got the carbs off for re-jetting and raising the needles and in between the 'V' of the heads there was loads of general road crap, a few pebbles and a PZ2 pozi screwdriver bit!!!
I'm guessing/hoping that is what was causing the rattly knocking noise.
The restrictors are coming out while the carbs are off too so cant wait to try it full power!!
