Hi, i made some stainless (i did make some alli ones but was worried about snapping them) brackets for mine and fiber glassed them on. Just cut the remains of the old brackets off and bend the metal so its flush with the trim line, sand the in side of the plastic and make sure its really clean and glass them on. Helps to drill some small holes in the metal were it sits in the glass aswell. Mines been like this for a few years now and never moves. not pretty from the inside but hows gonna look in there......
