Yes the speedo is required, will bring Kph unit for reference when I view your SP.
Did you find the unrestricted Ecu?
Will I still require a M-Max box if Ecu is not available?I think so as 12,000 rpm restriction will occur.!!!
Boris will know I think.
The reason I am pushing this topic is there is only one M-max available at present and it could sell at any time.I dont want to shell out £40 + if its not needed though!
On the Generator cover:
Is it going to be a right bodge to fit "Cagiva's" 3HE cover with the 3EN2 generator assembly?

If you fit a MPH speedo you'll need a M-Max box. They plug into the loom behine the clocks - you'll see how when you get there.
Hipringle's bike is a 2TK, produced in 87, a year before the restriction.

I can't remember the about the genny exactly but I think the 400 wires exit at 12 o'clock and the 600's ar about 4 oclock ... or is it the other way ????

Thanks again Boris.
the clocks I have were off a 3en2 if I remember, the warning lights are in a row along the bottom.

Right this must be the time all the idle poor go on line-10,000 shames on you two for not being at work!!!
Thank you Boris;I have just got the only M-max box since your reply @ £43 so thats sorted.
The EN2 wiring must be all in the inside of the casing as its the crankcases that have the cut out for the wire plus grommet on my engine.Think I'll chance Cagiva's when he gets back to me.Ive seen them with a rubber stopper like thing on the ouside about the 11 o clock position above the YAMAHA logo .I dont want that!
Thank you Mark for sorting clocks-wiring and idiot lights are correct for mine.
Just finished a little write-up-took best of 2 hrs to upload photos to Photobucket then compose.
There has to be a way to post directly as others do.(pretty please Drill Sarge Administator)
Would be struggling on this one (3en2) without this site because of all the model quirks so am very grateful.
Any members always welcome to use workshop facilities, meagre as they are, but some may not have access to oxy, welders, grinders, vices, impacts etc. as way of thanks.
Mark hope warning lights are in a row not having a row?
Once saw some rowers (scullers) in a row (line) having a row (argument) on the quayside! Christ you could only get that in the English language.!!!
