I know this thread is a little old, but after reading the August issue of PB and the geometry calculations I went out and bought an inclinometer!
The calculation in PB didn't work for me and I could not replicate their results with their figures.  I had a look around and found a calculation programme on Tony Foale's website.  Using this I could replicate their results!
So, standard 3TJ has a rake of 24 degrees and a trail of 92mm.
My modified 3TJ has a rake of 23.2 degrees and a trail of 87mm.
So my hybrid is a bit more extreme than standard.
The easiest way to get back to the standard figures would be to raise the yokes up the forks, but they are virtually at the top already!
She rides lovely (when the tyre pressure is spot on...) so I think I'll leave it all alone.
Will be interesting to have other opinions on 7th September.
