Streetfighter NC35?

Well it is crashed. Hahaha. The Chinese fairings I got for it are well, let's just say not quite the standard of the originals, and I can't find any second hand OEM fairings to have resprayed. Mine were cracked and torn to pieces, which thinking about it now is quite depressing. The quality of them shits all over the Chinese ones

So your reason for street fighting it is the lack of fairings and lack of funds to return it to stock?

An RVF with shit fairings will always be better than a shit one that has been fightered.

Fairings can be had cheap enough..and fightering a bike is not free!

Oh I have the fairings. Cheap ones. I just don't think they look very good. But interesting thoughts on the street fightering. Probably couldn't be stuffed turning it into a fighter anyway, I just thought it looked tough with no fairings on and it's grown on me. But I suppose it has been quite some time since I've seen one with it's fairings on.

There were some oem NC35 panels for sale recently on here, have a look in the FS threads. From memory they were expensive but proves they are out there if you look. EDIT - just realised your down under! postage might be a slight issue!

The only Honda 400 that takes well to fightering is the nc23.

It would be easier to streetfighter an nc21 or 24 because there were two naked versions of the 21 anyway so it would just look like a 400k or 400z,However the picture of the fightered nc30 by pns does look like a neat and tidy job although we have only seen it from one side

if your thinking of making a street fighter just because they haven't got a fairing, then I would say forget it, however, if you really want to do it, then I would suggest finding ways to make the bike look as unclutered as possible, hide/relocate as much wires, cables and pipes as you can whilst drawing attention to things like the frame, exhaust and swingarm and finish it off with a tidy nose fairing and seat which all fit properly and follow the existing lines. I think any bike can be made to look good as long as you spend some effort on it.
