Ah, I didn't think and assumed in the UK. Where are you?fourfingers wrote:Druid, I wish I could find a real 20k 120quid nc35 engine... But taking into account there might be 40 to 50 ncs in the whole country where I live, this is very unlikely to happen. Not many people in the UK are willing to send engines overseas, and even if they are, it is quite expensive +-140GBP. Been looking for nc35 engines for a while, the cheapest I´ve seen 300+ postage. Plus you never know what you are going to get.

800 miles SW... Madrid, own my 30 since 92, 89 silver black red(not any longer). Not many of them around here. The last one I´ve seen around has a british plate, 89 R/W/B, very nice. Just to have an idea of how scarce they are around here, I´ve never seen a 35 in flesh and bone
, just pics, parts lists, hrc manuals... you know.

IMO the NC35 looks nicer. The headlights are much nicer on the NC and the rest is all in the details which you won't notice unless you're really looking close.Spike16 wrote:wow, I thought it was bad iv never seen an rc45 in the flesh
Still want one though (although I want an RC30 more).

Re: NC30 JUMPING 2ND GEAR
Thats why I got hold of some 35 headlights, fairings
... I can´t wait to see it all toghether. A couple of months I hope. But first of all, got to sort out the gear issue.
So I´ve been messing around with my spare gearboxes 30(2), 29(1). I think i cant wait for a new 35 c6. Since my 29 c6 looks really bad, I have checked the 30 c6. Same gear ratio, but rounded cogs onthe c4 side. Sooo.. checked 30 c4, same gear ratio as 35, and, of course, will fit 30 c6 cogs. 35 c4 has a sort of blunt teeth, flattened on top, vs sharper teeth on the 30, but otherwise they have the same number of teeth.
I have tried it all together on a spare crankcase, and they seem to mesh correctly.
Sometimes I wish I didn´t have so much spare time... gets me into trouble

Re: NC30 JUMPING 2ND GEAR
Well, well, well...It is funny how things change from one day to another. Yesterday I had not seen a nc35 in real life, and today I just bought a track nc35 bike. Broken engine though. ohlins rear, revalved forks... Now Ive got two winter projects to work on. Wasn´t very expensive, but I´m broke
. Rick, your going to love this one: nc35 engine modified with Uk speck dual trocoidal oil pump and biiig oil rad :D .
I´ll pick it up on monday...
