Looks like everyone has his own method haha. I'll go with rick-o's new gaskets(cant reach him on the email address in the pricelist tho) and some of the red grease then. Thanks.

Also my rear two cylinders especially the righ hand side (thats where the bowl leeks) stopped firing. Apart from the leak my carb rubbers are old and the rear RHS one is torn at the top(ordered a new set) but only above the metal band. My question is can a leeking carb bowl cause this or the shagged carb rubber would be a more likely culprit?
