The offending part (on the right) and the replacement (thanks Mo Haggs)

In progress.

I couldn't wait for success, so I went ahead without it.

Nice one John. I too am on my way back to the 400 rider posse. Loving the HRC rear brake lever return rubber band, that's a proper factory item :D
Ducati 916, not worth a carrott

Re: I'm back! RVF 400 racebike.
Well, I've actually had this about a year now, christ how time flies.
But I've only been out on it a handful of times; one day (in the damp) at Cadwell, 2 meets and a couple of TD's at Donny and another slightly dodgy weather meet at Cwdwell last year.
Then the first time I rode this year was the DP Cadwell meet the recent bank holiday weekend and TBF it was a little bit of a lucky result (4 lap dash after a red flag incident saw a couple of the fastest men out, and no fast fast men there anyway) but;

3rd place
Possibly a slightly more helpful guide I was 2 seconds faster than I've ever been on any NSR at any time in the past which TBF at the first meet of the year is fairly unheard of, we've said a few times if you can turn up at an early meet and do your best times you'll go well.
