Do you reckon id need a new clutch cable too , or is that just an uneccasary spend?

Unnecessary spend if the current one works fine. I got those EBC heavy's you linked from Rick Oliver and I just had 3 springs, strong as anything. Could pull a caravan! I stalled many times after fitting them for a while.

As said, new clutch plates, new clutch nut, gasket, new oil (might as well do a filter change too whilst you're dropping and replacing the oil, I did). Not a hard job, just not the easiest, straightforward enough though! Watch the video at the top of this forum, it's perfect advice. I've just bought a new engine that needs a clutch change so I might do a tutorial with some high quality pics in a couple of weeks.

Its all sorted now cheers guys poppin over to ricks tomorrow to get a gasket,nut and and friction plates tomoz then crackin on it over the weekend :)
