Another option, yes. But like you said, not user friendly on the road. That's why I suggested looking at the Cat for inspiration, or Thunderace for that matter :mrgreen:

apparently electric superchargers have shown to have some benefit. Of course, there are mechanical losses with driving the alternator etc, but, it is something you can switch on when you most need it - probably more useable than ram air.

i dont understand the point , surley you dont need all the hassle and head ache if all your gunna do is pootle around town and sometimes with the missus on the back , i dont get it !!

I toyed with that idea for the GPZ, £80 per cylinder for supercharging ain't bad considering the effective BHP gain.

However, as I've committed to buying Buddha's NC30, the GPZ will be MOT'd, taxed and sold.

I doubt if they give you any gain at all, if clams are made about a power increase its probably made by the people selling them, i wouldnt waste my money on any electric super charger.
