i saw your bike vfrman and and think it looks amazing! simple but effective! im unsure if both will look too much? a friend of mine is going to spray my swingarm next week then im going to make the decision. have a feeling ill be doing both though? think ive decided to go black and gold with the fairing and wheels.

Well, I am coming to Italy in the spring, and I plan on bringing my parts to assemble my track bike. If you decide you don't like both frame and swinger powdercoated, I would be happy to swap with you. Only thing is I don't have a V5 or whatever for the frame.

The powdercoating looks really sweet on your bike mate, but just had a thought...
I wonder how much weight is added by the layer of plastic?

i think the main problem with powder coating the swingarm is replacing all the bearings after.

must admit thats one thing i havent looked at yet, the project has been put on hold while im being messed around with work so its been forgotten. shall have to get the trusty haynes manual out over the weekend so i can get some bits ordered.

next question tho: matt (if possible) or gloss black?

I would go for matte black. The gloss will show any imperfections, while the matte tends to hide them.
