I know the engines are similar, but is the timing the same?

It may be that the 400 CDI is expecting signals at a certain point in the cycle and the 600 engine is providing them at a different point.

I'd considered that, but the sodding thing won't start with the 600 bits either :x The 400 lump's going back in tomorrow, that'll learn it :lol:

The 400s in, wired and running now. I just have to sort the rear brake out (TRX rear end) and then it's MOT time. I'm quite looking forward to having to wring its neck again if I'm honest :lol:
