It also helps if you put the bearing in the freezer for a while to shrink the bearing and use a hot air gun or the girlfreinds hair drier on hot to expand the bairing holder before you try to bang it in.Best of luck

yeah, ive got the right bearings. tapered needle roller, its the ones from wemoto for the nc30, and no they were already smashed and some of the rollers were already out of place. and when i removed them. they crumbled... ive managed to remove that stuck bearing on my lower stem with a center punch and a hammer. i am not a danger to mechanical things. all i asked was for what type of grease is suitable, i do not own a honda service manual. i have a Haynes manual and it doesnt tell me which grease to use. im off to b&q to buy a long drift to hammer out the old outer races, i shall clean the whole steering stem/heads.
i would appreciate if someone could tell me if a high temp/waterproof grease will be suffice? or do i need some other type of grease?

okay i have pressed in my outer races, they are flush and smooth. now i am having very big trouble fitting in the bottom bearing... ive slotted it almost all the way down the stem. and then it gets stuck... i went and bought a pvc tube, that matches the exact diameter of the inner race. and i placed, and tried to hammer it down with the pvc tube, still no luck it wont even move a millimeter. i should have frozen my stem in the freezer but i never thought of that at the time. and now i cant take the bottom bearing back out as its stuck... are theyre any other ways of pressing that bearing to the bottom of the stem? cheers.

Put it upside down in a vice and close the jaws so the stem just fits through without touching, take a big hammer and hit the bottom of the stem.

You're taking the piss now, aren't you...
I already told you go to see someone who will have the tools and knowledge to help you! Shit mate, if you don't ask you don't get!
Have you no idea at all? Did you really expect a PVC tube to be a suitable drift to use on a hardened steel bearing race? Un-fucking-believable.

Malc, go easy on the guy, we all have to start somewhere. A PVC tube would be fine if it was the right grade and thick enough. Personally I use a piece of old roll cage tubing. It's easy to say but I have a garage full of stuff to little jobs like this.
You could use a piece of hardwood to knock it on, carefully tapping all the way around, but tube is best
