forgot to add bought a standerd air filter,and all air box is standerd nothing missing or been messed with and have part 13...

I'd take it to BMC in whitchurch for a dyno run... MIke and the guys there have the V4 skills. AM sure they could get it sorted for you in no time

Drilling the slides will only help alittle with throttle response and chances are it may have already been done.

il check the slides at the wk end,and yeah ive heard of bmc in whitchurch only live about 12 miles away so i might pop in their and c wot they say thanks all.

hi,wel had a little spin on her and seemed sluggish,so had a look at the slides in the carbs and put the extra washer under the needles and drilled the slides she started fine and again when warm idled solid so i gave her some revvs and she seem alot better this was without the air box on and revved alot better,soon as i put it all back together she seems sluggish again between 6k -9k and when the revvs drop she kinda wants 2 die but then itgoes back up 1 1/2 k. i set mixture screws 2, 2 1/4 turns out so i think its gotta b air fuel problem??

take it to BMC...

You cannot tune these without it being setup properly - airbox off and it running OK says it is far too rich.

wel tried both sets of carbs now standerd 1s with 115f 118 r,and the other set with 118f 120r ive set mixtures 2 wot ive been told but like you said its still running rich,i dont have any way of getting the bike 2 whitchurch tho .
