Hello mate,
Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner. Got so much going on at work and home at the moment - moving in a few days, it's been occupying both my time and limited brain capacity.
I'm deffo up for a trip this year (either Spain or Germany etc), but not sure I can/will commit to the Spain trip just yet. Need to get into the new place and see what costs expenses arise. I'm just being cautious about it all, don't think it should be an issue hopefully.
If I come to Spain, I'll have to meet you there. The boat scares me, not because of the boat itself, just the level of seasickness that I tend to get on anything other than a millpond. I got seasick pike fishing on the local lake a couple of years ago, in a small boat with a 6 inch ripple on the surface. I'm quite happy to meet you in Santander though.

Might be a bit far out of your way, but i go to Marbella every year and last year i rented a bike when over there and hit up the Ronda road. Possibly the fun / scary ride i have ever done. If you ever get the chance go and hit that road up. Nothing else like it.

What dates have you pencilled in? slim chance for a play out....probably on the Mille as No9 still has not been rebuilt..and money for that might well ruin my prospects.
I've also been looking at the ferry from St Nazaire to Gijon - transmanche ferries. Seems a good way to break it up eh?
