Really? I've struggled to find any sports bike with as much storage space - I can fit my chain, padlock and disc lock under there plus space for the toolkit.lizard821000 wrote:storage space isnt exactaly useful
Modern bikes with (pointless) under seat exhausts you'd be lucky to store your wallet in there - no thanks

It was fine for 100,000 miles on the NC30 and 10,000 miles on the NC35 so far - prefer to chain it to something as I've had a bike stolen in the past and seen others stolen - takes 30 seconds with a van if it's not locked to somethingporndoguk wrote:CHAIN

Re: seat lock , can i get into it!
im not disputing the time it takes etc! but for gods sake please put you chain in a back pack or the like,
i use a heavy kryptonite chain and it goes in the back pack.
its has happened and will continue to KILL people, the chains are heavy and fracture the undertray and then wrap round the wheel whilst in motion, im just pre warning you that is all.

As I said, it's not caused a problem in a lot of miles - the other thing I'm wary of is what you wear on your back and the effect it can have on you in an accident - are you wearing your back pack on your back? (or attached to the bike?)
Surely this could cause injury if on your back?
All the best,
Dave

thats an idea! i could drill the fker out! yeah there is circlip on back but after removing all i could from it it didnt fall apart or even look like it was possible to get into its guts, unlike most locks. if i could get into it i could sort it, but dont think anyones ever attempted to get into one before by sounds of it lol
