Quick question about Dynos.
Does the tester use the Tacho reading on the bike or is there a sensor/pick-up they attach to the bike, and use their computer?
I'm only asking as I haven't yet sorted the Translogic dash on my bike, so have no Tacho/rev counter.

No worries, they normally take a pickup from a plug lead.

Its been an ongoing issue since I fitted it!
I have the speedo working and all the lights/indicators/temp sensor/main beam and lap timer. But I don't have a reliable source or know how to connect up the rev counter.
I'm sure someone could do it without too much fuss, but me and electrics don't really mix!!
I've seen a guy advertise as a mobile bike electrician 'Ferrets Mobile Electrics' or something so might try him.

I'm sure it's just pick-up off the coil,I will have a look at mine.

Here is mine
Thats running empty air box with no filter
Hrc carb tray
126 mains alround
pilots 2 1/2 turns out
stacks with cut 25mm shorter as per pic below :-
What I have found they do like to run that little bit leaner rather than rich for more power.
