I've got some aftermarket stuff, meant i went for first ride on this bike at night and got stopped by police for no lights, didn't realise the honda controls don't work since the new lights either way i don't think 23yr old lights would be fantastic not powerful enough
From Tyga's site: "TYGA Eyes I, II and III and Spark headlights are both effective and give good spread of light and intensity, similar to the OEM NSR headlight units."
Not seen oem nsr lights though?
"The TYGA EyesI, II and III and Spark headlight use 25/25W non- halogen bulbs."
"The units we use are OEM systems and comply with some countries regulations."

Sorry, that information is out of date. We now use
http://tyga-performance.com/site/produc ... ts_id=1832
Much brighter and last longer than the old ones we used to provide

I am in the process of fitting the track kit to my 29, its a fibreglass bodykit so needs some sanding to get it to fit right and one of the side panels looks like it was taken out of the mould to early, some of the trimming and shaping of the holes left a little to be desired.
All of this can be fixed easily and was to be expected and the kit came at a decent price and overall is excellent quality and Tygas customer service is excellent.
I've been buying from Tyga for years for my NSRs, RVF and now my CBR and the quality has got better and better.
Still very much a work in progress.
Have you had any problems with clearance of handle bars against the fairing / clearance front mudguard against bottom of nose fairing (air scoop) I have a tyga fairing kit and RVF forks which I am gonna it to my CBR. Mine is going to be used on the road so will need to go through MOT checks
Thanks

Nope....Not yet anyway.
Have you fitted RVF forks yet, you get fuck all lock you know will be a nightmare on a roadbike.

I've got the tyga street kit on my CBR and RVF forks. I've been commuting on the setup for about a year now.
Like Tanuki says, the lock to lock is terrible on a standard RVF yoke swap. Bear in mind you also need to swap the stem for the CBR unit, which is 10mm longer. I ended up getting a custom yoke made by Tyga and the stops are better, but still not quite in the right place. I had to sort out a less elegant solution.
I had no issue with the stock RVF clip-ons hitting the tank or fairing. It's a fairly comfortable fit.
The lights are my main issue with the Tyga kit. Everything else I'm pretty happy with but the headlight on mine points too low even in its highest position. Mine strikes the tarmac a couple of metres ahead of my front wheel. Even with the uprated lightbulbs it doesn't light the road up that well as the beam pattern is fairly narrow and diffuse. There's almost no difference between high and low beam. It's the next thing I'm looking to modify.
In Tyga's defence, I do have a a 10mm longer Nitron shock on the rear that raised the seat by about an inch and the RVF forks drop the nose by around another 10mm. That still doesn't seem to have tipped it on its nose by more than a few degrees from stock, so I'm skeptical that is the problem with the headlight aim. I've had trouble finding anyone else to talk to about it and Tyga were fairly helpful, but trying their suggestions didn't resolve the problem. Maybe you'll have a different experience.
The rear light is just not bright enough. In the day it can be barely visible. I'd occasionally get people stopping alongside me at lights saying my back light doesn't work, when it actually did. I chopped in an e-marked item in place of the standard led board, which worked better.
Also, if you want to have a locking rear seat, you may need to customise something to make the standard barrel fit. Mine didn't have enough material on the underneath for the standard barrel to grip and it just slopped about loosely at first.
Other than these minor annoyances, the overall shape and quality is pretty good. I'm happy with it, just not the electrics it comes with.
*EDIT* Just to be clear, mine is also the latest kit with the Tyga III eyes headlights. One of the problems is the strange bulb fitment, which means finding replacements is hard in the UK. Another is the low wattage of the high beam. Even the Osram bulbs Tyga sells them with are only 35W on high beam, compared to what, something like 55W on the original Jap export?

I got a new kit for my NC35 a few months back. Its the one with Tyga Eyes III. I've been meaning to ask about the original lights as these are not great. Mine seam to also shine mostly on the floor and quite a bit in the fields on either side of the road.
At night I just have the high beams on and nobody notices. still cant really see where im going

My lights are also far too low (CBR400 Tri-Arm), my rear shock is standard (and buggered) so the rear is actually quite low, when I stick a decent shock in it my lights are going to get even lower, what a pain. I think it's just a general fault with Tyga's kits.

Just think, with the new shock you will be able to see the front tire quite nicely

Here's the link with the advice Tygapaul gave me, it might help you guys set the beams a bit higher, but it didn't work out for me unfortunately:
