Doesn't cause any major issues, just got used to it but if u find and easy fix let me know!!

As Porndog says, while at a standstill, give the throttle a little blip as you snick up into neutral. Takes a couple of goes to get used to, but should work. If you're still rolling to a stop, it should be easier to find neutral without the need of a blip.

What are using to select the gears if the lever is broken. Neutral light switches can be a bit temperamental, at least mine is, and therefore light does not always illuminate when in neutral. The clutch also tends to drag enough to make finding neutral difficult when engine is running, I find it best to try for neutral before the bike comes to a stop. There is a disc with six deep notches for the gears and a shallow one for neutral, under the cover into which the gear shift shaft feeds.

Half a gear lever

. Thanks, do I have to drain gearbox oil to get in there?

When removing the external gear change mechanism there will be a little accumulated oil but that's all. Bigger problem is you have to remove the water pump so if you can now find neutral I would not bother, unless you have more problems later on.

I've been at the TT all week sat in traffic unable to get the nc in to neutral. This thread has saved me stalling it every time I want neutral! Amazing. Small blip of throttle and slots straight in.
