Mine has been running fine for the few months I have it. Oil pressure is good as the light pops out quickly enough. It does work pretty well and you can feel the heat kicke dout by it.
I am going to move the cooler to the nosecone for even better cooling and am looking to fit an oil pressure/temp gauge into the loop so I know what is going on.
HEL get the sandwich plates from a company I cannot recall the name of...they are based in london and do a lot of this type of kit. Might be better to go direct to them. I got the hoses and fittings from my local Pirtek shop and all is good!

For the record - it`s just that my photobucket account is refusing to accept new uploads at the moment...!
Jap spec single rotor pump on the left (the lower left port is a blank, it just uses the same casting on that end as the other pump) - UK spec/NC24 twin rotor pump on the right plus the two extra internal oil pipes which feed into the back of the cooler outlets on the crankcase.

This is prob a stupid question but can one use a water radiator to cool oil?

i have had a few chats with rick about oil coolers,we both agree the oil/air cooler is the best but i'm going to try the oil/water cooler first to see if it works or helps any...
but to do the oil/air cooler properly this is the way i believe you need to go,it's a lot of expense unless you have a motor out on the bench apart and it's requiring a rebuilt anyway
i hope you do go for it mark, and maybe at some stage i can get a motor that needs some TLC then i'll follow in your footsteps

as i'll not be using it any time soon and i'm going oil/water anyway

If I can get my hands on a pump and the piping then I will get it sorted for no9. Will test the drillings and fitment on ym spare motor first though
Might even be mad enough to run the sandwich plate too but fit a thermostatic valve to it to make sure the old moto is nice and chilled
paying for my rads today...woohoo..
