Re: CBR400s with the FireBlade logo
Hehe!
So to summarise - the NC29 is/was a Bladelet, the NC23 wasnt??
I see...
Will have to take another look at that sticker, did look convincing... good colour match & all...
Oh well...lol

Re: CBR400s with the FireBlade logo
Then you are completely mistaken, the CBR400 from around 1994 which had the Urban Tiger style graphics (but in black and deep red or purple and orange) had FireBlade (that's how Honda spelt it then, capital F and B) on the fairing.Johnny FireBlade wrote:I'm convinced that the FireBlade logo was never original
I couldn't wait for success, so I went ahead without it.

Re: CBR400s with the FireBlade logo
According to Grey Bike Jan 98 issue, the new paint schemes for 94 took advantage of the 900s success by marketing the 400 as a miniblade.
Now this begs the question, did owners add their own stickers to their earlier bikes or did Honda add them to capatalize on the 900?
Possibly a bit of both but checking my bike they are the only stickers not under laquer which suggests aftermarket buying but the strange thing I have noticed on looking at bikes with my colour scheme and the blade logo, they appear to have the logo in the same orientation and position, which suggests factory settings or a lot of very careful owners.
I dont really know but its one of the mysterys of owning a 15yo bike.
