i have a standard cdi but has an m-max de-restricor unit plugged into that, do i still need to use that if i have the blue motrax speedo converter on the clocks ?? forgive me if this is a twat question as im a bit shit with the electronic side of the bike

I would reckon there's little chance of engine survival if it sees over 18,000 rpm.

At least mine didn't survive these revs on one too many downchanges! :oops:

Ooops! Blew it up eh :-)

Theres always the chance that a slight overrev will be brought down by the rev limiter... but if it isnt there then you dont even have that hope.

The Chinese ignition boxes are junk :P
