To be fair i doubt im ever going to be doing anything to require a stand, so cant justify spending that much on a stand if im only going to use it to take the wheel off when changing the tyre? (on student wages here!) Would you recommend buying one anyway just to have handy? I have access to a platform jack type thing (forgot what there actually called? :S) would this be alright for a one off?

if your only going to whip the wheel off once in a while then a single sided paddock should be all you need if you dont wanna shell out on a abba, just make sure its for a nc30 (if that is your bike) as there are diferent types of stands , you need to get one with the right size pin to slot in the axle

Went and had a look at it, theres some sort of clip after the nut, does it just pull out yeah?

Not to sound like a dick but the best thing you can do is get yourself a haynes manual , loads of info in there .

Im not the best with mechanics but once you read through there info most things make sence.
