i don't think any "fit" but most have to be modded to fit on the bike, stick with the R1/6

most are fitting these and they have no issues

there are some that dont accept a block connector, and already have a connection lead on them.

i got an r6 reg rec and ive crimped on some conectors which was really easy to do especially with the pic on this thread. but its a real hassell trying to find a position that for the reg rec thats not catching the fairing.

I hold mine on securely with one bolt (was lazy, couldn't be arsed drilling and tapping another one), and filed some of the fins off the back (top left in pic) to clear the ridge on the subframe, it's soft material only took a few minutes.

I bought a secondhand R6 unit, still have the same prolem I had before.

Does anybody know what the resistance should read across the various pins? Changes with polarity as well if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully I can rule something out as the cause of my 'no electricity' issue.

Tested your altenator too?

If the regs wasted the alternator can well be wasted as well.

Get a multimeter and set it to the lowest ohm setting possible, short the two pins and note the reading, if it's not 0 remember what it says.

make sure the 3 yellow wires from the altenator arn't conencted to anything and measure the resistance between each wire, should be 0.1 - 1.0 ohm, remember to subtract whatever value your multimeter read when you touched the two probes together.

Finally check between each yellow wire and earth (ie. frame) you should have no reading, any reading here and its' deffo shagged.

Finally, be careful not to touch these now so best connect the probes up and then start the bike, measure between each yellow wire and ground on AC voltage, at 5000 rpm you should have around 50volts off each wire.

hope that helps, should elimintate alteneator
