Gonna get it stripped down at the weekend and have a look at tap - Anything to look at in particular ?

In regard to battery its very odd - so the battery was dead a couple of days ago - tried to start her up and nothing.

last night - bump started it and left it on to heat the bike then switched off and left for couple hours - then went back and pushed to starter button and bike fired up first time left it over night and started this morning first time. Whats that all about ?

But I guarantee if I go out and ride it the battery will die/ bike cut out ?

Hmm, a little bit of 'bouncy, bouncy' down the road, bike doesn't start...I'm thinking dodgy connection. Check all contacts on the battery and earth points they can come loose. Worth a look.

Yeah def have a look - do you think it will be cool to put a new battery in or just hold off till ive worked this out ?

I wouldn't risk a new battery if the old one still starts it. :?
