Re: RVF 160 rear with 525 chain
I have a 525 and a 160 and I have no problems with clearance on my RVF. I'm running a BT-016 rear and I think a +2 on the rear sprocket (have to check).LUCAS wrote: Anybody else used one with standard chain and sprocket size?

I'm using Michelin power pures on mine....160 rear......no clearance issues at all and awesome tires!

Remember that one manufacturer's "160" might not be the same as the next's!
For reference, check out the nominal sizes of BT45's here:
http://www.bridgestone.com/products/mot ... /bt45.html
130/80-17 = 131mm
140/140/70-17 = 145mm
150/60-17 = 149mm
So you see that "nominal" tyre sizes really aren't that accurate at all...

don't think you'll find a better street/track tire than the power pures at the moment and 160 still has simple and predictable turn in that I felt with 150's. Can't say enough good about this tire....saved me a number of times already.
