Oulton park meter readers are almost comical - different everytime when i go and at least 10-15% higher than my own reader
My nc30 fully race prepped reads 107 with unbaffled Blue Flame can, 104 with the baffle but has been known to read 100 at same venue, I normally stick my standard can on for the test and first run then get sneaky with the spanners as the people dissapear.
Some of the bikes sound really loud and pass ,NC's and the small cans seem to be really loud at point of escape.
Bloke in same garage as me last month with a firestorm with straight through cans, so loud it made my eyes vibrate passed.
Top tip is to wang a load of wire wool in your can for test.. it then blows out or can be hooked out with a screw driver.
MSV should take this more seriously as people spend a lot of money on the day and they should ensure their equipment is accurate and consistent

I have a full race system on my gsxr600 trackbike ant it only comes in at 100db, you'll be suprised at what passes noise tests.
I have a mate that wraps wire wool round his DB killer to get through noise testing.

We had a Manx Norton at the Odiham Trackday last weekend - it sounded mega loud, but on testing was only 104dB - I guess its down to the way the bikes pop/fire/run?
I didn't test my NC30 but I recon it was a bit loud.
If there are any 400gb members in the South or around Hampshire looking to find out their dB give me a shout and I'll grab the clubs meter and we'll test it
