Re: hybrid hanging idle/revs problem driving me nuts!!!

Post by cagiva996 »

managed a breif ride today without the fairings on and boy is the new motor sweet!!only problem is slipping clutch so im gonna swap the clutch packs as ive got to do asn oil change anyway so its an ideal time.ive lost too much riding time as the fazer i use for general work/hack duties has got a 6 inch masonry drill thru the back tyre you should have heard the bang as it smacked into the rim.ive not had the courage to take the back tyre off yet as im scared that it may have damaged the rear rim and the old cash flow is a bit thin at the moment, but hey shit happens-shoukd have a fully funtioning hybrid by the weekend anyway so its not all bad

hanging idle now a thing of the past, and ive got my old trust y hybrid operating as it should.still not sure what it was but the engine ,carb swap seems to have cured whatever was the problem.ive swapped the clutches as the clutch was slipping on the track engine now installed in the road hybrid and ive managed to explore the engines potential on the road and it a cracker!much nicer engine and much better gearbox so summer can (for me) finnally begin! just got to balance the new set of carbs when i put the new fuel tap in.
