Well its not the coil, i need to know what that relay is for next to the flasher relay, the one with about 10 wires, also my fuel pump is not keeping the carbs topped up, engine died and when i clicked the kill switch back on the pump clicked away for 10 seconds, so i pulled the pipe off the carbs and nothing 'til i did the kill switch again, then fuel pumped out, i did manage to get the bike to rev to about 5k but lots of carbs spitting and backfires, it has to be an electrical problem

where in London are you ????

Personally I'd get a 4JH loom and CDI and work it from there

I returned the 4jh engine and got a nice 3he engine with only 7k miles under its belt. Fired up straight away :grin: :grin:

Heres a strange one, when I'm in neutral the temperature gauge don't work, when in gear it works fine, anyone got an idea why?

Maybe the live is common to both of them, so when the neutral light comes on the power drops to the temp gauge.

But that's really just a guess
