Changing sprockets to anything other than standard gearing will throw your speedo out.

it does..changing the gearing in any way affects the reading on the speedo.
I don't care...mine runs in KMH and if I want to use the speedo - it is easy to go 30mph or 50mph...anything else doesn;t need a speedo...
@ Hadies - I agree, it looks better...but for me, performance has priority over a tart's handbag every time!
I don;t get it when people have mechanical piles of shite with spanky fairings, wank sticker kits and stuff that makes no difference to whether the bikes works or not...

at the mo my speedo is 5mph out already lol and i have'nt changed anything yet lol tells me i'm doin 35 and really only doin 30-ish according the satnav , i've not removed derestrictor yet so cant do more than 110-ish any way, wot would speedo reading b any ideas .

i must admit i would prob prefer performance over handbag looks lol (even if she does look more like a dust bin bag

) needs loads of tlc
But i should really start sorting my rgv250 thats been striped and in my shed for the last 18+ months ( this having no spare money lark aint no fun ) b4 i start something else
