Yep Carl at Race Supplies Direct certainly had some, a mate made them for him makes one as I have one in my shed waiting for the rebuild of my smashed racer. Nice work and very light.

and I am pretty sure graeme uses standard cut down subframes

I remember racesupplies version, just looked like standard frames but in aly. At £150 a pop i thought they were rather expensive too.

I'm gonna see if a friend of mine can help me out with fabing one up. I'll post up what I come up with

Looking at the standard subframe to do this as cheaply as possible we need to use straight bar as the STD subfame has some bends near where it joins the frame.

I think I will wait until I have managed to get hold of a CBR6 tail and then mock up a subframe from square 20mm dowl...once that is done it can be taken to a welder and knocked together really cheaply.

When the time comes to get busy with the dowl 2 pairs if eyes are better that one

They are a bit different to the standard one but are made to fit the standard race cowl. The work is exemplary. I was lucky to trade a few goodies for part of the cost of mine.

I hope it doesn't go the way of the other 2 subframes I have had on the bike.....
