a certain type yes.. the normal res that let you use a LED on a 12V system do only that.
the reason they are hazards at the mo is that the indicator system is a loop, normally there is not enough power to power the other side when you switch them on. as LEDs require so little to power them, they pick up the small amount of power on both sides = hazards.
if i removed the dash bulb they will work properly as the dash bulb is the "centre" of the loop. but id like to keep my dash light in.
what i need to get now is a "load resistor" aka Power resistor 6ohm 50w for each indicator.
i am still looking in to the load res as they become very hot...
i also want to change the front LEDs as i not 100% happy with them. not bright enough

at last.. working indicators!!!!

solution.
Honda LED relay
6R-50W "load resistors" aka Power resistors 1 each fitted to the front indicators.

they flash at the right rate at 72 a minuet, well with in MOT standards 60-120 flashes a min.
and they no longer hazard flash. the load resistors fixed that.
the dash light has brightened up, i may still change that and the other dash lights to 5mm LED wedges.

this is the solution for all led indicators, its what i did on mine,

not all......

the theory behind load resistors is that you have to fit 1 to each indicator.. so youd need 4 as i have LEDs all round.
not is the case. i am only running 2 up front.
the rear end of my bike has 92 5mm LEDs, each has a 12v resistor soldered in place. 14 of these on one side (left or right) are indicators. it would seem that the rear is creating enough load on the old OEM relay as it is now on the new LED relay that i only need 2 of the load relays.

i can say that most the shops i spoke to were confused as to why i had hazard lights.!

WARNING
load resistors get hot when used. thankfully indicators arent on for long.
